Welcome to Runway28 Media. On this website everything is related to modern military aviation. This website is my personal portfolio which is related to aviation photography, videography and written reports. All together this website contains more than 25 years of passion for the aviation branch including mind blowing photo reports and full action videos. This website was launched in 2007, and became more and more complete over the years. The reason why I have chosen the name of Runway 28 is simple. Runway28 is the name of the main runway at the airbase of Gilze-Rijen where I grew up. I really appreciate your interest in this website and I hope you also experience the passion for aviation while watching like I do.

Next to photography, also videography is an occupation of Runway28. Making the perfect video is about story telling and needs a high set of skills. Shooting the videos in full 4K resolution in a ProRes RAW format will bring the raw airpower on the airbase to your screen or television at home. The 4K video format ensures the film is as crisp and clear as you can imagine. Smooth images of aircraft and explanations of aviation experts are the key words for the most complete aviation film experience.
Visiting Great Locations
When you have the skills for the photos, videos and interviews, it is also important to built up the network to reach the greatest locations to shoot at. Arranging an embarkment on an aircraft carrier or shooting aircraft or helicopters air to air is really a once in a lifetime experience for most of us. Also shooting at the airbase can bring challenges to find the best spots on the platform or along the runway. Also low level off-airfield photography is a setting where on average the most fantastic shots are made.
